Definition
O&NCMH Management Committee have overall responsibility and seeks to act positively where it can reasonably do so, to prevent injury, ill health or any danger arising from activities undertaken in the hall or the attached grounds.
Responsibilities
All hirers must complete and sign the booking form and bouncy castle agreement if being used. This contains important information regarding the safe use of equipment and use of the hall.
A written risk assessment, including the risk of fire and hall maintenance is attached to this policy document.
Should a specific event require a more detailed assessment, this will be the responsibility of the hall committee. The assessment could also be provided by the hirer if appropriate, but must be given approval by the committee before the event takes place.
Any concern raised regarding a potential risk must be fully investigated by the management committee and a reply of the outcome sent to the concerned person.
